After making a purchase in the online store, you also have the option of creating a customer account.

If you have forgotten your password for your customer account, you can create a new one when you log in. To do this, please click on “Forgotten password”.

You can change your address details either directly on the overview page of your customer account or under “Address”. There you also have the option of entering several addresses if the billing and delivery addresses are different. This is also possible during the ordering process.

You can reorder any order you have placed by going to “Orders” in your customer account, where you will find every order you have placed. To reorder, click on the “Reorder” button.
You can enter your voucher during the payment process or in the shopping cart overview. The following field is provided there: Voucher code. After entering the code, please click on the arrow in the field.
You can enter an additional email address for the invoice. This option appears in the “Continue verification and payment” step. You will then be shown the following: Where should the email with the invoice be sent? You can then enter the corresponding email address in the field below.
You can print out the invoice for your order in your customer account under “Order”. Click on “Order details” and the field “Print invoice” will appear in the top right-hand corner. However, this is only possible once the delivery bill has been created and the order is complete.

Deliveries of approx. 100 kg or more are made by forwarding agent on pallets.
UPS and forwarding agents do not deliver on Saturdays.
The delivery times stated in the shopping cart apply to orders received and payment received before 08:00 on weekdays.
For orders placed at the weekend and on public holidays (Bavaria), the order will be received on the next working day.
You will be informed about the status of your order by email. You can also view it in your customer account under: „Order“. In your order, you will find the tracking number directly under the order number at the top left.
If you receive several tracking numbers, this is because the order had to be split into several parcels.

Paying with PayPal
If you select the payment method “PayPal”, you will be forwarded directly to PayPal at the end of the order process. Are you already a PayPal customer? Then you can log in there with your user data and confirm the payment. If you are a new PayPal customer, you can open a PayPal account and then confirm the payment. If you return goods, the amount will be credited back to your PayPal account.
Paying by credit card
Gmund Paper accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Your credit card will be charged when you order the goods. If you return goods, the amount will be credited to your credit card account.

Energy – homemade
Up to 75% of our electrical energy comes from our own renewable sources such as hydropower, solar energy and combined heat and power generation. We only purchase energy with a green electricity certificate.
Water- economical
Fresh water consumption is constantly being reduced. Thanks to a globally unique ozone purification system, the water is treated without chemicals and reused up to eight times before it reaches the sewage treatment plant.
Raw materials – sustainable
Gmund paper is made from plant fibres, a renewable raw material that can be recycled up to seven times, creating raw material for new paper. We are also conducting successful research into alternative fibres for paper production.
Recycling – consistently
Consistent pre-consumer recycling of our colour-sorted production waste turns waste into a valuable raw material in a purely physical process, which can be reused here on site.

The printing information can be found with the respective product in the store.
When printing and processing, the recommendations of the manufacturers of machines, printing inks, adhesives, laminating and embossing foils etc. must be observed. Gmund cannot accept any liability for damage caused by incorrect applications.
The roll width is the basis for all paper formats. Gmund typically produces rolls with a width of 70 cm, and for white papers, often also rolls with 100 cm width. Paper sheets are cut from these rolls.
From 70 cm rolls, the format 70 x 100 cm is produced in the Short Grain (SB) direction, while from 100 cm rolls, the format 100 x 70 cm is produced in the Long Grain (BB) direction.
Short Grain (SB) and Long Grain (BB) describe the grain direction of the paper. This is the direction in which the paper fibers are aligned during the manufacturing process. In the Short Grain direction, fibers are aligned with the long side of the sheet; in the Long Grain direction, they are aligned with the short side. The grain direction has significant effects on the properties and behavior of the paper. With the grain direction, the paper is softer and more flexible, making it easier to fold and process. Against the grain direction, the fibers are stiffer and more prone to breaking.
In the paper industry, paper weight is the thickness of paper, expressed in grams per square meter.
